Tabs

I have the mud output, settings editor, and mapper open at all times and they are tabbed in the window.
I want to have the database also open and tabbed, but when i try it the tab is inserted before the mapper tab. I want the tab to be after the mapper's. Opening and tabbing the windows in the order i want them to display does not work.
Help?

Not necessarily. It could be nobody else keeps those three windows open and tabbed. I personally only occasionally dock the database, I never dock the Settings Editor, and the mapper is completely useless to me when docked (it's far too small on a single-monitor setup).

http://forums.zuggsoft.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=19126&highlight=tabbed+mapper+child

Create a new window using the #WINDOW command.
Undock the mapper and set it aside.
Dock the new window in the place where you'd like the mapper to be.
Grab the mapper window and dock it with the new window (tabbed).
Click the tab of the new window giving it focus.
Grab the settings editor and dock it with the new window (tabbed).
When everything is just so and if you don't want that new blank window tabbed with the editor and mapper, just close it
Lock layout.
Save layout.
