zMUD keeps FREEZING on me...HELP PLZ |
Ok, for some reason after i click the save button after writing an alias, trigger, etc..., when I try to exit out of the, I guess you could call it the wizzard (the small window that pops up after u click any of the buttons on the top bar). The whole zMUD program becomes non-responsive and closes out...and none of the triggers and such are saved...Any answers?

Umm, don't click the save button? You're probably going to be a lot better off by upgrading to 7.05a (if you aren't there already), but if you don't want to do that you can simply get used to the following routine:
1)after finishing up the code, click on some other setting (it doesn't matter what, since all this does is ensure ZMud applies the changes by saving them to memory). Your new code will go live, so it's best to make sure it's not going to cause any problems like spamming and the like.
2a)click on the File menu in the Settings Editor, then click on Save. (this will write the settings in memory to disk)
2b)on the main menubar, click on the Settings menu and then click Save. (this will write the settings in memory to disk) |

Ok, even when I try to do the file save from the menu bar it still freezes...I'm going to just uninstall then try to reinstall see if that helps.

I had that problem, caused by nested classes with the same name as their ancestors. Deleting the settings file and then choosing different folder names fixed the problem.
