Is their any way of matching two mud outputs on one trigger.

Im pretty new to this, and have tried various things, the mud
out is :-

(%w) teleports you here! and (%w) has magically disabled you!

Both outputs dont come at the same time, i want to catch the
first word which will always be another character name.

I could just do seperate triggers, thanks...

You could use the #condition if you want, or make 2 seperate triggers with a variable that keeps track of it all.

A good feature in zMUD is that you can press F1 on a command you've typed into the commandline and you will get the helpwizard for it, if it's not enough help, press "More Help" and you will see that command with more details. Next to that there's a good feature in the helpfile itself with the "Related commands" or "related functions" button ...

The best way to learn is to actually do it/figure it out yourself =)

In addition to #COND, you could also use the {option1|option2} syntax in the trigger to make it match both lines. However, it would be better if you just make two separate triggers.

Why do you want to match both with one trigger anyway? If you don't want to repeat code, then you can put the code in an alias and just have each trigger call the same alias.

Thanks Guys, i played safe and did two seperate triggers.

Sometimes you get teleported and other times disabled, all i wanted
to do was capture whoever it was and store that in a kill variable.

An other client uses the | to seperate, the mud im playing has many
outputs with different text, but is always headed with the name of an
other player, ie Paul has or Jim Teleports, if you get my rather long
winded explanation.
