non-standard directions HELP ME !
 
I've tried everything and it just doesn't work. Confused
I am not able to link rooms with direction "other".
If you can help i will grant you. Wink

The standard way to link direction of type 'other' is by using the direction character (default of >) at the command line. Common syntax would be:
>climb wall>e

Perhaps knowing what you are doing and what hasn't worked would provide some more insights into how to help you.

I've got only one more problem.
zMud doesn't want to recognise correctly directions defined in my language . I think because there occurs sign - in names of directions.
(for example
n|polnoc
e|wschod
ne|polnocny-wschod )

And it makes difficult to make a map automatically.

Use #SUBSTITUE triggers to remove the - and change your direction settings to not include it.

I need regular expression which should match following strings:

"north-east"

"north-
east"

"north
-east"

In PHP it would look like this:
'north(\s)*-(\s)*east'

Please write if you know sollution to this problem.
