We certainely can help you. It just seems that no one here is all that big on doing it through IM's or perhaps AIM in particular. Myself, I like to try an provide the solution to the problem in as public a manner as possible so that perhaps the next person to have that problem can simply Search the Forums and find the solution.
While I realize that using the forums for your problem, and the inherrent delay in responses does not satisfy the need for instant gratification; I will not change my interest in trying to help as many people as possible when solving a given problem. In general I think many of the other regular problem solvers around here feel the same way. So we all tend to ignore posts that simply ask for help without providing much to base a suggestion on. Basically your original post provided only that you have trouble with the configuring the automapper. This leads me to think that the autoconfiguring either did not work for you, or you are "confused" about how to use the Automatic Configuration Wizard. In both cases the only thing I can recommend is reading the help section on Configuring the Mapper.
If your confusion is more specific I can provide more specific help. If you have a very specific problem I can provide a very specific answer. As I said though, I want to try to make such answers as publicly available as possible. That way someone can get that instant gratification from a good search. |
