Unable to Uninstall zMUD 7.05

I've just recently decided to uninstall zMUD 7.05. I'm running WinXP Pro SP2 with everything updated. I keep getting this error:

"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application" [Close, Ignore - Buttons]

I don't want to just delete the program off my system since it digs into the registry and system files. Any clue how to resolve this?

Hm... thanks for the help, I'm going to test that out now. -> Tested and working!

Meanwhile, I've found something else that may work as well: http://www.visualtour.com/downloads/xp_fix.exe

It fixes those files listed in the support page.
