Need some help here!

Ive been using zmud forever. I have bought 2 copies of zmud for personal use. I just wiped my pc and put Windows2000 on it. Now when I install the current version of zmud. I get "No such interface supported" when it's loading. It then freezes and wont get past the loading screen. What am I missing here? The other registration program works if I load it sololy. But the zmud program it self will not work.

Also, someone told me it might be my graphic drivers? I dono??? But Im using Omega Drivers for a ATI Graphic 7500 PCI card. I dono if that would spawn a "No such interface supported" error or not.

Basicly goto microsoft.com and update your win2k sys with all avail updates

http://consumer.installshield.com/kb.asp?id=Q108521
http://zuggsoft.com/data
Update DCOM stuffs //first link
Update MDAC stuffs //second link

run the MDAC checker make sure everything is up to date no errors etc :P
as a note try installing mdac in safe mode
Make sure your network card drivers are up to date.
etc etc Just a few things off the top of my head!

Thanks for your reply!

Seems I had a virus I guess I picked up from the imfamous popups that everyone gets on windows. (Just installed windows from unix. Within 10 mins I had about:blank hijack). Guess the other popups and virus's I picked up corrupted my "System32" folder along with "Winsock" junk after awhile. So after I posted this, I couldn't even connect to anything :). I had the files and my coms allowed for everyone but being the files were messed up I really didn't know how to fix it. So I just ran windows2000 repair cd and it fixed everything. So you were right. Someone needs to put this in the "FAQ" part with the link you suggested.

Thanks Again!

-Offtopic-

Internet Explorer sucks period. Constant page hijackings automatic DLing of crap //on default settings etc. and all around lameness.

This is my reasoning as to why MS won't include a popup blocker with IE.

MS makes hella good money through advertisments
MS would offend Advertisers if they blocked Ads
MS doesn't care about end user just about money
Hence IE sucks use Mozilla Firefox or some other browser that has a popup blocker intergrated

Yeah before I did the repair. I had to switch to firefox due to the hijacks and total popup atomic bomb being dropped on me. Firefox had nothing =).

FYI

WinXP SP2 includes a popup blocker for IE.

*faint* I don't believe it :P But I don't use XP so I guess I luck out on that one. Maybe on I.E 6.5. Besides life is so much easier with the Adblock extension *duck*
