Calling all Achaeans *laugh* |
I have an alias to light all my pipes quickly, and variables to list when I do and don't have balance. How would I combine the two as to have my system wait for regaining balance if I don't have it, and then light the pipes as soon as I get it back? I get the feeling it's not quite as simple as just:
#IF (balance =1) {light all pipes}
where 'light all pipes' would light all my pipes. (That's not my real alias, just in case someone knows how to use it against me, LOL.)
Perhaps a variable called PIPELIT and triggers that would set them to 1 and 0:
Pattern: You light your treasured pipe until it is smoking nicely.
Value: @PIPELIT = 1
Pattern: Your pipe has gone cold and dark.
Value: @PIPELIT = 0
Then a trigger:
Pattern: You have regained balance on all limbs.
Value: #IF (@pipelit=0){light all pipes}
Yes, I know there are three pipes. I know how to make an alias do an action more than once, but would I be able to put that in a trigger? For example:
Pattern: #3 {You light your treasured pipe until it is smoking nicely.}
I'm not sure if that would work.
Any and all advice appreciated.

Well, whatever the real alias is LOL, if it works then your trigger should too.
#TR {You have regained balance on all limbs.} {#IF (@pipelit = 0) {light all pipes}} |

Or if you have triggers already setting those balance variables, have those triggers also do things that should be done when you have balance and need to do them.

That's the one! I haven't played Achaea in a couple years and couldn't remember the name for that site. Yeah, that's a good one. |
