Storing Ansi codes from the mud |
Ok I tried figuring out a way for myself, but I don't know if it's even possible now.
I want to basicaly store a given line from the mud with it's ansi codes.
Is there anyway anybody can think of to store a line from the mud to a variable maintaining the color(s), so when the variable is called up again it retains the same color?
Hope I explained what I'm looking to do well enough.
Like I said, I don't even know if it's possible - but I like to think you can do anything with zMud |

set the trigger option to ansi then %trigger should contain the ansi codes.

I tried that, and unless I'm doing something wrong, I couldn't get that to store any of the ansi codes. Maybe I should clarify a little. I want to capture an unknown line basically a blank trigger, and have that line stored with the associated line color(s).
Any help? |

Rugbystyle,
Are you trying to capture the MUD's color codes or the %ansi function's color codes? Also, what is the trigger you have so far?

You are going to have to make a trigger with the ansi option checked and a pattern of ^(*)$. Without more information we really can't say anything better then that.
