Ok. I read the FAQ. It stated that you can use zmud on up to 3 different computers. Now, does that mean you use your code 3 times and you're done, or does it mean you can deregister a computer and use it on another?

The way I understand it is that you can only have 3 working versions of zMUD up at the same time. There is a procedure to release a license on a machine or you can just wait and it will drop off by itself (in like 90 days).

you get the code, you can use the code on up to 3 computers, every 90 days it will re-set and you will need to re-liscence all 3 computers... at this time you may put it on another computer and take it off a previous.
