ZMud and Speedwalking

I've owned a copy of Zmud since v5 and have found it to be the best tool around.

Recently I was running v6.62 (or at least somwhere near that number) and speedwalking worked without any problems - for example, I could double click on a room and it would speed walk me there no problems (provided I had all doors correctly set up along the path etc..).

I just upgraded to v7.01 and then v7.03. Speedwalking never seems to get very far now! It usually sends me off half way in the right direction then skips some directions sending me off completely a skew or just leaves me there. The mapper does seem to detect the correct position when I stop but it just doesn't get me there. There are exceptions to this and for some paths it consistently works - others though it consistently fails!

Any ideas as to what may have caused this change. I don't really want to revert to v6.x as I have added to some of my maps etc...

Cheers

The Mapper Path Finder code was changed between 7.01 and 6.62, and it seems to be kinda buggy right now.

I have a similar issues where sometimes the mapper will path to the incorrect room. It is kinda funny cause the Mapper highlights the correct path in the Mapper, but the actual directions it sends is different.

At least you now know you are not the only one have issues with the new version.
