Roaming Settings

Is it possible to set up zMUD to store its settings for everything in a network share? This way, I could have all of my settings no matter which computer I'm on? The folder where they'd be saved is "\SERVERzMUD".

I would think so, yes, but you'd need zmud installed on each computer you play from. If I remember a previous thread correctly, you cannot use zMud remotely, and you only get 3 licences to install zMud on 3 different computers.

I know that. It is installed on all three computers already, I just want all three installations to access their settings from the network share "\SERVERzMUD".

In Preferences, under Directories, you can specify where the different setting files are set. Just point them to the share point.
If you want them to access the character's .mud files, in the Character window, click on the character, select Edit->Files, and change the location to there.

Yay! It worked, thanks! I set the folder permissions to only allow one machine to access it at once so I won't get any errors of multiple processes biting it at once.

Thanks,
Jelani
