Dragonrealms Prompt, No Newline Before Next Input

I'm basically seeing something like this:

You cough.
> You cough.

When I think it should be:

You cough.
>
You cough.

In response to my typing "cough;cough" into DR using zMUD. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. I was also in the same room with a different character using eScape while it was happening, and it never exhibited that kind of behavior.

With the default settings for DR, I see this only when two lines of input come in fairly quickly, like this. It also seems to depend on how small the time delay is between the two lines.

When I turned off GSL emulation, I got this:

You cough.
You cough.
GSq1055195063

OR

You cough.
GSq1055195064
You cough.
GSq1055195064

I never got anything else. It seems like when I get the second thing, zMUD replaces the GSq with > (as it should), but then tacks on the next line of input immediately, without adding the extra newline before. Anybody know why this would happen? Anybody else seeing this occasionally?

Oh, I also noticed that zMUD occasionally puts a newline in a paragraph of text, when it should just be a solid block.

Anybody else seeing either of these two occurrances?

I read the thread about the EOR/GA setting. I had it on before, and that's when I got the results in my original post. It's just weird that when EOR/GA is on, it sometimes acts like it's off.

Also, did anybody else see random newlines in the middle of paragraphs?
