Colors in zMud |
I am playing in the mud The Lands of Evermore and have a problem with the colors. The text that should be black is gray sometimes.
Strange thing is that this problem doesn't occur with another client.
What could cause this behabiour?

Perhaps you have some rogue trigger you don't know about that is coloring the text.

The sometimes bit kind of confuses me, but this problem sounds very similar to the recent bug report here.

Thanks for the comments.
But I don't have any color triggers running. The color comes directly from the mud.

Many things could cause this behavior and without information it's useless to speculate.
Most likely, it's something sent by The Lands of Evermore which zMUD treats as a color/intensity command and the other client ignores. Have you tried to find out why the other client is displaying black text when it should be gray?
