Exchanging mud files from 6.4 to 5.55 |
At home I use zMud 6.4. But at work I can't install it, but can use an already installed version of zMud5.55.
My problem is, that I mostly change my settings at home. But zMud 5.55 can't work with these setting files. Is there a way to edit the files, so 5.55 can understand them?

From the 6.40 Settings Editor, File menu, Export text...
In 5.55, find Import text (I think it's available). Alternatively, you could just copy/paste the settings from the text-file to the command line.
You'll still have the problem of ensuring you limit your scripts to the commands, functions, features, etc. available in 5.55. You may have to do some editing of the text files if added features have modified the syntax of particular commands.
Text files can be edited with any suitable text editor (notepad, for instance).
