Export/import problem

I exported my settings to an ascii file so I could use the find/replace function in notepad. Once I used the find/replace function in notepad to replace some words for other words, I saved it, and imported it back into zMUD. The problem is, it didn't import all my settings. A whole bunch of my settings are missing. I made sure that word wrap was off in notepad, and I made sure to export all my settings and import all my settings. What could be going wrong? I also tried turning on the export inhereted and export by class options too (I'm not sure what they do), but that didn't fix the problem either. Any ideas? I also tried exporting and importing to an ascii file and not editing the file in notepad at all, and it STILL didn't import all my settings. So it seems it's not notepad that's the problem, but the importing.

Perhaps it is having trouble with one particular setting. See if you can find a pattern like, for example, any setting that comes after X setting is not imported.

You can also try exporting all your buttons to one file, all your aliases to another, all your triggers to another, etc. Another option is to split up your exported file into smaller ones. The idea is to narrow down the setting or group of settings that may be causing a problem.
