More then 1 instance of Zmud

It appears that Zmud doesnt allow the use different connection methods for different Character files. So in an attempt to get around this, I thought that simply running a second instance of zmud, and then changing it's connection settings would do the trick.

How ever, thus far, i haven't been successful in getting two instances of zmud to run at the same time, even if the zmuds are of different versions.

Does anyone know if it's even possible?

Thanks

Ps, Great work on v6.4 it's absolutely brilliant :)
(cept for the mapper room movement of course)

Yes, no it isnt.
That is, you can probably run 3.62 or 4.62 together with a 5.x or 6.x version, but as of 5.x (I think) simultaneous instances weren't allowed. (I forget the reason, but there was one :)

The Proxy settings are global, I guess its assumed that you either need a proxy-server to get 'out', or you don't. Maybe you can run some sort of script to connect to the proxy in the character that you need it? (Can't think how at the mo, maybe someone else will have an idea) - or write a plugin to do that..

If you've got problems with the mapper being slow, see some of the posts about that.. (Though it seems some really-big maps do really have a problem..)
