Bug when linking rooms - Zmud 6.40

For some reason, certain commands tend to highlight the room you're standing in.

For example, I have "save" in my tick-timer command. Every time save goes off - the current position window becomes selected.

This is quite annoying while mapping. Since the mappingcommands take a few seconds to go through - you can find yourself suddenly having all the links you pressed to make on your current room instead of the room you clicked to edit. Also, this sometimes makes the mapper bug, so that instead of the proper link - it will create a "loop link" that looks like a circle within the room you were trying to edit. Most of the time you'll need to delete that room and remap it to make it look right again. A few times I've found it to be among the links of the room with the loop-link (in properties) so that I can just delete that link, but most of the time - that loop link is nowhere to be found - neither in the room I wanted to edit nor the room I'm currently standing in. Any idea how to fix this?

All I can suggest is to disable the tick-timer while mapping. Also, any triggers that use the commands which give you problems.
