Ok...As i seem to have been dubbed the unofficial zmud guru at our mud, now when I public annouce my start of a Db project i'm getting afew people offering to help...That said I'm looking for a way to have multiple people contributing to 1 db while seeing that NO duplicate items exist (Side note..there are items with the same name but different stats so i have added fields such as a area/mob to differencate)...
Whats the easiest way to go about this..have 1 full db..with everyone else using a template of stuff and importing it into the full after every zone or what ;)..Thanks in advance

The easiest way is probably to use a master template, so that everyone has the same fields, in the same order, with the same field-types and the same field-sizes. That should make it fairly easy to use the Export/Import features.
