It appears that the max length of a text label is 80 characters. That's fine, but it should give you a error message or prevent you from entering more than 80 characters. I typed out about a paragraph and only after hitting save and going back to look at the map did I realize that I cut off most of what I typed in.

Actually, this is a bug. It should allow 255 characters for a label, but the current database field is wrong. I've added this to the bug list.
