Mapping settings for Achaea? |
I've never had much success getting the mapper to work with Achaea, but I hope someone has perservered enough to get all the #NOMAP and #NODIRs sorted out.
I'm hoping someone can post those settings, (perhaps in finished scripts forum). It'd be much appreciated.
I get the impression the v6.26 has changed the mapper - I'd be happy with code that works in .16 or .26, as I expect most people (like me) will be upgrading shortly. |

I hate seeing spelling mistakes in my own posts. Persevered, I should say. :P

2) Making the map.
Achaea has a funny thing about its room names. At the end of every room name is a period, followed by a space. Zmud does not pick up the space. So in order to get the map to follow you, you get to add a space at the end of every room name that does not end with (road). The reason for that exception, is that the achaean titles for roads are "Name of the room. (road)" ... the space is still after the period, not after (road). This makes a rather tedius making of the map, but it is possible. If you'd like, I can email you the maps I have already created, which covers most of achaea. Though I think you'd have to have the zones separately, and figure out yourself how to link them together.
