Hello. Does anyone know of a way to download the new help files? I don't seem to be able to print them out and it would also be very helpful to be able to refer to the whole "manual" at one time rather than trying to guess what to look up. Any suggestions?

You should be able to print them out by using the Print button at the top of each topic or Print Topic... from the File menu. It's a bit of a chore since you can only do one topic at a time (although you can queue them up).

My sugestion for what to print first are the following pages.
From contents Function Reference|Function Reference.
That one has a link to Command Reference, Predefined Variables, and Expressions.
After those 4, use the link for pattern matching in the Expressions page and print that one.
Those pages give a complete list of functions, commands, and useful items. They are categorized and provide short desciptions of usage. |
