upgrading

When I upgraded from 5.55 to 6.16 I had all sorts of troubles with my mud file, in teh end I had to import each individual trigger, macro, alias, class etc. Does anyone knoew if the same will apply to upgrading to 6.26 from 6.16? or is there an easier way. I tried just using the same basic file but everything ended up being corrupted.

You generally shouldn't have to do it the hard way of importing every single trigger/alias/etc. Did you follow the steps of the migration page? Also, 6.26 is a Beta Version, if you don't feel comfortable with the consequences of using a Beta, then test it. There's no way anyone can say that nothing will go wrong when upgrading as there are many outside variables to consider. Remember to back up all your settings in case the upgrade doesn't work for you. Good Luck! If you have any problems after upgrading, post in the Beta Forum as you will be upgrading to a Beta version.

Also, in the 6.x versions it is harder to get your settings corrupted in the 5.x versions. So, once you have gotten all your settigns to work correctly in 6.16, they should easily work in later 6.x versions.
