Interesting problem in 6.16 display window

I have noticed a rather bizarre effect in the way zMud displays certain lines received from the mud I generally play..
The problem is this:

If someone uses the talker channel, or sends a tell etc, with an unmatched < character, the line is completely and utterly
scrambled and reassembled in random order.

for example, the line:

Wombat tells you: <This is a message
might actually appear to me as
<This is =wombat message you

I've tried disabling all my triggers and parsing, which seems to fix it, but if I leave one or the other enabled, it still happens.
(That is, turning off both fixes it, leaving one on and turning the other off makes it break)

I've tried turning off various options, such as "allow <> for expansion", which has no effect.
also, when "show triggers" option is enabled, the offending line does not match as a trigger, which presumably means its not a
badly formed trigger of mine which is to blame.

Is it trying to evaluate the lines arriving from the mud perhaps, and failing on a mismatched bracket?

Odd.

Sounds like you need to start examining
the triggers that you use for working with
the talker channel.

Problem is there.

I think it may well have been MXP that was breaking it, thanks for the reply.
Time will tell if it decides to come back and haunt me :)
