Zmud freezes

At first zMud didn't freeze, but in a last few weeks it seems to freeze with no reason.
No, I didn't add new triggers.
Yes, it happens with more than one char.
No, I don't gag it all.
I don't got link-dead either.

Somebody told me he had the same problem, upgraded to 6.24 and it worked. Well, not for me.

Help me! What to do?

Let me correct myself:
"Freeze" in this case is then I don't get any text from the mud, and I don't go ld.
I can do what I want with zmud, send commands to mud, it will execute them, but I just don't get any text back.

It has nothing to do with traffic amount neither, because even when I idle I get it.

If it just started, it might be a corrupted settings file. Make a new one and see if that fixes the problem.

If that doesn't work, you might try and see if the same thing happens using telnet.

If it doesn't, then the next question would be does your MUD use MCCP? Sometimes if the compression is not entirely implemented properly, things like this can happen. If so, you might try turning off support so the MUD won't send you compressed data. View, Preferences, General, expand the General category, go to Emulation and uncheck MUD Compression emulation.

No, telnet is just fine.
The mud (dune.servint.com 6789) is not using MCCP, and the checkbox was unchecked.
My settings file looks just fine.

They may look fine, but they could still have a problem. Try hitting ESC at the character selection screen and using this command to connect to your MUD:
#SESSION hostname port

This should open a new window, with a blank settings file. Play around for some time and see if it still freezes.
