I played around with the options, and...

I seem to have done something very wrong. It seems that now, everytime i open a mud, after about 10 lines of text i get a constant " Scrollbar property out of range" message. After that, if i even click my mouse near the window, several more of the same error messages pop up. Maybe, just maybe, i shouldn't have poked around without knowing what i was doing? Can someone help me out?

Thanks

Try creating a new connection to your mud, and don't use your existing settings files.

If that works, you can import your old settings to the new connection to get things back to normal.

If that doesn't work, post back. We like the bizarre bugs around here.

Try uninstalling/reinstalling. You can probably keep your old mud settings - I suspect the problem is a goofed up .ini file.

I am having this exact problem. Not sure why though either. It happened the after upgrading to the new zmud. I got into it fine the first time and played my mud but after closing and then going back into it the next day it kept giving me this same error. It joggles the screen and bunches all the text together so you can't see anything, recieve anything from the mud, or send anything without 3-4 of these boxes popping up.

since earlier I excluded your .MUD files from suspicion, I'll include them this time.
Make a backup zip of zMUD.
Unlicense it (if licensed).
Uninstall it.
Delete any leftover files (i.e. c:zmud)
Re-install it.
Try a fresh connection to your mud.

If that works, then you should be able to unzip your old .mud files from the backup, and cautiously import their settings one or two at a time, testing for errors.
