let me be a lil' more specific with this.... this is what my mud looks like

A Room in the MUD
Here in front of you sits a room. It is in the MUD that i
play. There is stuff surrounding you, and other useless bits
of data sit here and there. It's prolly dark or something too.
MUD rooms are always dark.
Exits: north east south west up down
A mob is here waiting for you to kill it for experience.
A mob is glowing with a bright light.
There is a mithril key on the floor here.

tha's what my mud looks like from one prompt to the next when i automap. does anyone know how to stop the recording after the exits appear, but still use the prompt as my verifier that a room loaded?
in layman's terms, how do i get zMUD to NOT store the mobs and items in the info?

Try reconfiguring in a room with no objects.
If that doesn't work, then try to configure using the OFFLINE method.
