Here's a challenge for all of you zmud guru's |
okay..i'm a questmaster on a mud..and i recently obtained a trivia book..i would like to make triggers to use that trivia book to run quests on the mud
it has 30 quizzes with 12 questions in each quiz
each question has 3 clues with it..
the format of the channel this would be on is
»»-Quest-person-> message
i'd like to be able to initiate the quest..then just sit back and watch them answer it..
and i'd like to have a clue come up after maybe 2 or 3 mins..repeating until all 3 are gone..
but if someone answers then it'd cancel the process of putting up the clues for that question obviously
if there's anything else you'd need to know let me know and i'll tell ya [:p] |

wow there are so many ways to do this.. can you provide some more patterns. and also can you request the players to answer in a certain format, or do you want to manually approve or disapprove each answer? heck, really how much do you really want to do manually?

there really is alot you can do with zmud, my friend and i were bored once a bit ago, and had our own base lima lib up, and just made one room for it. then set it up so you could actually type in directions in the mud, and the other persons zmud client would respond with which room you were in, in their mapper. so we could run around areas from muds we had mapped with out being logged in. it was rather pointless. we just wanted to see what we could do. and there is ALOT you can do. there was alot more we did. we added commands, and also COM'ed out some info to email and instant messengers n such. but this was a couple years ago. er hmm 2001,, so i think that was just when 6.0 came out,, or close to. anyway, ack. back to work for me....
