Problems on autologin |
I had it working before, but I don't know why it's not working anymore. If someone could tell me how I reset all (not by deleting all my files, pls), I'd appreciate.
I typed my password on profile and saved it. Then, when I try to use the autologin, MUD returns me a msg that I'm typing my password wrongly. When I go back to profile, I can't see the password (as expected), but I can see that the size of the password is incorrect.
I also tried to create a new profile, but same problem happened.

This is copy/pasted from my mud, maybe it will help you...
In zMUD, click on 'File', then 'Another Character', or 'File', then 'Open'
to access the character settings - and change the password there.
If you have forgotten your character's password but can still log on with
the character, you can still find out what the password is. Log on with
that character, click on 'View', then 'Preferences' and then click on
General Settings'. Find the checkbox for 'Gag Password' and make sure the
box is not checked. Click on 'Ok' to close the dialog box.
Type the command #say %pass [enter]. Your password will be shown on your
screen, but not sent to the mud. Write it down, for future reference. |

It sounds like you know your password, so retype it in the Password box.

Well. As I said, I tried to put the correct password (which I'm pretty sure it's correct, because I can log with it) on profile, but it still same problem. I tried deleting username and password on profile and let ZMud catch them again, but when I try to reconnect, same problem.
When I type #SAY %pass, it will show some weird string, but not the password I set. |

Your password must have some unusual grouping of characters which zMUD interprets as something else. If possible, just change your password. If not, modify your password trigger to input the password directly instead of using the #PW command or %pass variable. Note the ~ before special characters.
Sample command-line entry:
#TR {Password: } {kYLl~*m~`Sp~@~$Sw0rd;#T- Autolog} {Autolog} {nocr|prompt|case|verb}
If you modify the existing trigger using the Settings Editor, all you should need to do is change the Value:
kYLl~*m~`Sp~@~$Sw0rd;#T- Autolog |

Well. That solved the problem, but there should be a better way.
And no weird characters on my password, only numbers and letters. |

There is a better way, but it didn't work for you and I don't know why. I've never seen any combination of numbers and letters which would cause the problem you describe, and can't imagine any such combination, but putting your password on an open forum wouldn't be advisable. You might want to correspond directly with Zugg to see if he can figure out what the problem is.
