I was wondering if its possible to set backgrounds to the different windows in Zmud? And if not then that would be a cool idea for the next update.

I believe just bring the window to the front that you want to change the color for goto prefs colors and set your colors then save your settings as nameofwindow.mud do that for every window you want changed

Hmm, not exacly what I had in mind, I was more thinking actual background, like putting and image instead of the black background thats there, can thatbe done?

No, there are no plans for that. I've played with it in the past but in the main window it slows down scrolling a *lot* to have an image in the background. Since speed is more important than cool features like that, I decided not to pursue it.
