room description capture too large?

When I configure mapping, it shows the proper configuration, including highlighting the room description in the proper color.

However, when I look at room properties, it captures everything after room name as the description, including exits and items/mobs in the room!

How can I have it capture only the paragraph shown when I "configure" mapping? Is this a bug?

Example:
If I look, this is what I see:

Outside Avalon
You are standing in front of the castle Avalon. A moat surrounds the
castle walls and it's towers. From here you can see a bridge leading over
the moat into the castle.

Obvious exits: south and enter.
Gate guard
Gate guard

the "Obvious exits: south and enter." part and the " Gate Guard" parts are in the mapped description, but should not be.

Select and copy (Cntrl+C) just the room info without the mobs.
Configure in Offline mode and Paste in the window.

If that doesn't work, I have a few more ideas.

I have done this.

I still have to keep doing this on new rooms, which is annoying. I want it to capture properly...

It seems to work sometimes, but not in a deterministic way that I can fathom

Set the exit keyword in the configuration to "Obvious exits:" and check the 'Exitline contains key' option.

As the help on configuring the mapper says all automatic detection positions are based on the exits. By getting them right other things will tend to fall into place.
