amip and zmud

if no one has ever head of amip..ill quote from the website what it is..
quote:

AMIP is a Winamp now playing (np) plug-in. The title stands for (Advanced mIRC Integration Plug-in).
Now there is support for other players, such as Apollo, QCD and Foobar 2000 (fb2k).

AMIP integrates not only with mIRC, but with any application via clipboard or file integraion!

It is more than simply a now playing plug-in! AMIP is also packed with the playlist search functionality.

You've probably seen the line like below while chatting on IRC?
[01:06] * [Commando] np: avril lavigne - sk8er boi "let go" [rock|2003|248kbps]

You have also probably seen such strings in the e-mail signatures

Best regards,
Crazy Coder

There is an old, old Winamp plugin which I finally found after hours of digging which will allow you to access winamp via DDE.

http://www.indiegallery.com/zmud/gen_dde.zip

#dde winamp system play
#dde winamp system fadeout
(a longer list of commands are included in the readme file)
