Automapper, Room delays and "go ..."

I just installed zmud 6.62 in the hope that it would be great for playing Dragonrealms, but so far I keep running into the simplest of problems.

I wont bother you with the many error messages and such, but would be really greatful if someone could help me with the following problems with the automapper. I have search forums and checked the website. The closest I got was a reference to "the next chapter will cover the auto mapper". Only there was no next chaptor.

1) In one area, moving from room a to room b, going east can take 60-80 seconds. This is simulated travel over a very long stretch of land. When I try to speed-/slowwalk accross this place, it times out after a few seconds. How do I tell the mapper that one specific link has a "delay" of up to x seconds?

2) How do I make the automapper understand basic movement commands like "out" "go gate" "go lake" and such? This is hardly unique to one mod, so I would think support was already in for this. Currently it just ignores such moves, with the result that the following movement sequence will result in stacked rooms: s; go gate; n;

Thanks in advance for any help received.

Kronos, thanks for your help, but I'm afraid I don't quite get it.

Where should I enter this? on the map somehow or? I'm really lost. And will this help me when the delay one place is 80 seconds? And will it not make moving everywhere else extremely slow?

Furthermore, I have now run into a new problem.. I managed to find a way to support "go gate" and such:
>go gate>e
seems to work for now, though I wish there was a more automated way.

However, now all of a sudden, my speed/slowwalking has stopped working all together:
1 of 2 things happen if I try to speed/slowwalk to a place on the map:

Either it outputs a number, like 3, instead of a direction, and since no room description is received this way (only a not understood message from the mud), it times out after a couple of seconds,
Or it simply does nothing.

I read in a different topic of a known bug when the distance was more than 100 rooms, but this is even when trying to speedwalk to the adjacent room!

Again, thanks for any help and suggestions!

I think I found the problem with the walking thing throwing out numbers.

Not sure exactly how or why, but I had made a DIR under settings. Guess I didn't know what I were doing, because after deleting it, it seems to be working ok again. Weird.

that line I put in copy and paste it on the command bar on your mud window, and enter. It will then be under alais in the tool bar when you open it you will see an alias with that script in the value box.+3 = 3 sec, increase the value if still to quick or decrease it. Mine is set on .7 of sec.As for the exit command Like I said in the prperties box of that room.If you open the exit tab you will see at the right hand bottom 3 alternative options 1 = Other command 2 = Link label 3 = door name.highlight the direction the gate is on top left.(blue) and in the box labelled other command type go gate;e etc.Like in my mud I have water so I put swim e; but if it is a door then open door e;e .that tells it to open the door east; semi colon then step e.Hope this helps any .
