Mapper - Room Addition Issue |
All right, I'm sure there's something very simple about this that I'm missing, but so far I haven't been able to figure it out so I'm asking you knowledgeable people.
With the mapper, oftentimes the room exits aren't necessarily n/e/s/w or other directional variants. What if there's an exit "go stairs"? When I do that, the mapper stays in the same room, and it throws my maps off by a room. "go ledge", "go portal", "go door"... etc. The mapper might not recognize them from a description automatically or be able to choose a directional exit on the map for it, but there must be some way that you can do it so that your maps don't get misaligned... right? |

>go stairs>w
This is the mapper directional command character.
This is the non-standard exit from the mud.
This is the direction from your current room to where you'd like the new room created. |

Thank you kindly for the response. My remaining question is, where do I input this? |

If its zmud which I'm using, v6.62 with the mud Achaea. I would come across a room where I would have to swim.so I have to put that command in the properties box.You will see and option for another command going in that direction.Just type it in.So when you enter that room it will see the exit w but the command is to #step up or #move up,or maybe just up!.Try that
