You need to describe the situation a bit more clearly, but I think I might know what's wrong. You probably disabled your services.
1)right-click on My Computer
2)select Manage from the popup menu
3)select Services and Applications from the list that appears on the left side of the window that pops up
4)select Services from the sublist that appears (you can click the little plus sign and see it on the left, or you can see it on the right when you do step 3)
5)select LicCtrl Service from the list that appears on the right
6)adjust this services properties as needed. By default, I think, this should be set as follows:
Name: LicCtrl Service
Description: (blank)
Status: Started
Startup Type: Automatic
Logon As: Local System
ZMud will not at all run if the Status is not Started, while the rest other than name are quite optional.
If you are getting a splash screen or other ZMud window, though, this won't fix anything for you. |
