Error when starting Zmud

I've got a serious problem. I had just reinstalled Zmud in the last week and relicensed it. All was working great, untill yesturday.
I'm running Windows XP Pro.
When I try to run the program, nothing happens now. So, I changed it over into win98/me compatability mode.
I get this error saying 'Sorry, could not get a license at this time. Please try running this program later. 23 0'
I need some help please fellas. What's going on? |

FYI, I get the same problem when trying to unliscense.

For error 23 you need to e-mail eLicense and tell them about it. They will send you a program that should fix the error. If you are unable to get the program, let me know because I think I have it around somewhere.

I have this same exact problem, happened just recently. I try to run the program and get nothing. It shouldn't be my reg code, I registered zmud for the first time like five months ago. Any idea what this is? And did you get yours resolved, Droz?

I've been toying with this a bit and it seems to be a problem with Elicense. Any software I install (AC Explorer, Zmud, etc) with Elicense does the same thing. I tried uninstalling the Elicense software, and uninstalling everything else (Zmud etc) and the same problem exists. It won't reinstall elicense either. Quite vexing. Really can't imagine what is going on except that it could be related to a recent windows update. Anyone else noticed such an issue?

It might prove useful to check to see if the LicCtrl service has been disabled for some reason.
