zMUD 6.62 questions

So far, I'm absolutely disgusted with this version of zMUD. I previously had version 6.16. I cannot unlicense my current version, so I can't downgrade back. But, sorry. I'm not here to complain.
So, I'm going to ask questions which will hopefully make it tolerable...

First, how do I prevent zMUD from gagging my exits and putting them in that little window that I have hidden unless I move my mouse to the top of the screen?
Second, why is zMUD gagging my lines which usually use the <> signs (as in, <LINE> disappears from the history when I see what has been said). How can I fix that and get my line titles back?
Third, how do I turn off pictures and clickable links without getting html gibberish? I once found some option having to do with turning pueblo stuff off (which, I can't seem to find again) and suddenly couldn't see symbols such as the > in my prompt or quotes. I'd get things like ~lqt& or something like that (sorry, I didn't copy it down, but it looked a lot like stuff one would use in html). I want no pueblo whatsoever, but I'd like to be able to read what I need to
And finally, zMUD crashes at random. I've checked out the "it may be your elicense code", but I still haven't gotten a reply back saying if that's what the problem is or not.

Honestly, I'm finding this to be a big pain in the butt. I've contacted the support about 5 times now and they've really been no help whatsoever (when I asked why I couldn't unlicense my copy they replied, "try unlicensing your version, then reinstalling").
If anyone could please help, it would be much appreciated. I'm not very deep when it comes to zMUD commands and whatnot.[xx(]

Try deselecting the various Prefs on the MXP/General MXP page, until you find the ones which give you the performance you want. This will probably take care of the first three things you asked about.

Can't help you with random crashes. Unless you can identify the cause, it would be pure luck if any suggested fix made a difference.

You don't actually need to unlicense version 6.62. You have three licenses available and 6.62 only uses one, so that leaves two more if you want to use an earlier version for some reason. However, I'm not aware of any reason you should be unable to unlicense 6.62. If you can't unlicense from the desktop icon, which is probably the case if you had a previous version installed, go to the Control Panel for eLicense and unlicense there. If nothing else, your license will autoexpire within the next 90 days and if you just don't renew it you'll be unlicensed.
