Temporary Trigger

Greetings Zuggsters,

The mud that I play on, we have a specific skill called flash that allows to stop fighting a mob, without loss of exp, but in battle this can be used effectively. I want to set up this skill plus another skill where i can blind others from another room

FS, FN, FE, FW, FD, FU, are all corresponding aliases to flash in a specific direction, but i set it up that as soon as i flash i will blind the opposite direction. I flash west, then immediately use my skill to blind east. But when im not in battle i dont want to use the blind skill once i flash...how would i set it up to disable it, then enable it once im in battle

idea a
Find some mud output (do you have a combat prompt?) that you can rely on to trigger on/off for when you are in combat. Use a variable to track whether you are in/out of combat.

idea b
When you flash have it look for some mud output (trigger) within about 5 lines that would tell zMud you are fighting and then cause that to blind the opposite way.
