Define Custom Colors in Mapper

I'm using Zmud 6.16...

In the mapper, I like to color my rooms based upon the type of terrain the room is (light blue for water, green for forests, etc) but I've found that the default colors don't always suit my needs.

If you click on the Room Color button, you are presented with the Basic colors and 16 black blocks for custom colors. Perfect!

I can define a custom color, click add to custom colors, and then ok and color my room to the color that I want. However, once I close the Room Properties box, my color disappears from the custom colors.

Any ideas on how I can get my custom colors to actually stay put?

Thanks,

Elariel

Hello Elariel,

I'm not entirely sure but I don't think you can save those colours. Either it is a mistake in the code, or a limitation of how Windows handles those dialog boxes. It would be a good suggestion for improvement for a future version of the mapper though.

Also... You might want to upgrade to the latest version of zMUD. It has a new mapper however so if you upgrade be sure to take a backup of all your old zMUD files. Better safe than sorry
