Jscript / VBscript vs Perl?

I been looking for how to use Perl in zMUD but it seems that feature is not there. Sooo... out of VBscript and Jscript which is closer to Perl style?

Also, any good books for the scripting lang of choice? I have been learning Perl off and on for the last year at work and would love to see zMUD support Perl but know Zugg is busy with other things :)

zMUD uses the standard Microsoft Scripting Engine which can be extended to other scripting languages by writing a module for it that understands it. This has already been done for Perl and, as far as I can tell, is available here. I believe all you need to do is install it and then for the scripting language in zMUD, type in PerlScript. However, I have not experimented with this particular feature of zMUD so I'm not sure. If I'm wrong, I might be able to check it out or someone else could correct me.
