this pattern doesnt seem to work
^{(%w) is DEAD|(%w) (%w) is DEAD|(%w) (%w) (%w) is DEAD}
trying to match those mobs with two names in their short desc eg. big dog is dead or bif red dog is dead or dog is dead |

To my knowledge, variable pattern matching doesn't work.
quote:
Help Pattern Matching
{val1|val2|val3|...} match any of the specified strings can not use other wildcard inside this
A solution for this is to grab it all in a pattern and examine it. In this case try and autoloot from the last word of the pattern.
#TRIGGER {^(*) is DEAD} {get all %word({%1},%numwords({%1}))}

If you're only going to use the last word of the mob's name, you don't really need to match the earlier words.
#TR {(%w) is DEAD!} {get all %1}
BEWARE! Some people will get extremely angry when your trigger causes you to loot their kills. They may decide to PK you to get the loot you stole.
In many cases, you could just use "get all corpse" and not even need to know what it was you killed.
