Can't unlicense my zmud |
Basically, I installed zmud on my laptop and for some unknown reason that nobody can help me with, it won't connect no matter what I do. All other network and internet connections work fine. I installed the license through the 'offline' method using explorer and cutting and pasting that huge text box. But now, I am giving up on this machine and want to remove the license. However, in unlicensing, there is no offline option, and of course, I still can't connect to do it the normal way. *growl*
How can I unlicense this machine even though zmud can't seem to find my very active and working connection that every other program uses just fine... (can you tell I'm bitter?) |

Don't worry about unlicensing it.
If you NEED that license before it expires normally, you can e-mail either Zugg, or e-license, and they can reset it for you. |

Now that your are LEGIT and have an Elicense you should try this:
Connect to the internet as you would normaly
then start the Zmud program when the dialog box opens and asks you
free trial lisencse
chose license and do an on line regestration
It will ask you for your product reciete Id
Type your LIGIT product reciete in and IF you have a license free it will do the rest.
Follow what instructions come next.
Hope this helps,What do you think Lightbulb?

Why drag me into it? But since you did
I don't see any indication in what jrlogan1 posted that he was ever anything other than LEGIT. What I do see is that he asked about unlicensing, so instructions on how to license won't help. Ignoring his statements about not being able to connect to eLicense won't help either.
I'm sorry, jrlogan1. I don't know anything about the 'offline' method of licensing. As far as I know, there is no 'offline' method of unlicensing (other than reformatting), but that doesn't mean there isn't any.
You should probably contact support@elicense.com for assistance, with a copy to support@zuggsoft.com. I know that Zuggsoft is concerned about providing good customer service, and eLicense also seems to be.
You might also want to check out the eLicense FAQ on this site and the FAQ on the eLicense site, if you haven't already.
Oh, and AzCowboy is right -- if you don't need that license immediately you probably don't need to do anything. It should expire in 90 days or less.

Just knew that you knew about this stuff since you have answered my questions in the past about License.
And he did say he wanted to unlicense but only because he could not get it to work, my way was just an alternitive,it worked for me when I could not connect to elicense.
Also jrlogan1 the elicense is a very busy place try connecting at off-peek hours you might have better luck.
