BETA 6.53 Bug

I'm unable to post in the beta forum for some reason.
I own 2 coppies of Zmud, one for home and one for *cough* work.
Anyway, seems that when I try to create alternate exits in 6.53, by doing room properties and new link, it automatically links to itself.
for example i'm in room 2000, I right click new link, then a new line appears under exits showing "TO" 2000. I click other, put in what I plan to type to move to the new room and then I execute the command in the mud. It moves me to a new room, but the Link under exits is still linked to itself. The alternate exit doesn't work after that.
I have had to manually create another room, manually link them, then edit the link between the rooms to be alterante exits in order to make it work temporarily.
