Okay, I had hoped that the web page would have been straight forward enough. That is my fault. This is a graphics acceleration card with the unique ability to enhance the drawing of ascii characters--hardware accleration. In other words, your MUD's text (Or any other text for that matter) displays much faster, as long as the application displaying the text takes advantage of the card's ability.
Anyhow, if there is ever a (Windows based) MUD client to support such a card, I would definitely wish it to be zMUD ;) MUD'ing in Windows just isn't the same without zMUD, or rather without the speed I find in zMUD. Faster would obviously be better though, no matter what the cost to me! |

Come on, that's a joke. I mean, this is a line from the article:
quote:
"I was frightened when the band of o's attacked me. They were so realistically drawn. It was scary."
Look at other news in the site:
quote:
Grade inflation has forced the Secretary of Education to adopt a new grading system. Instead of using the familiar A through F grading system schools will use the scale commonly used by bond rating agencies: AAA through Caa.
They post stuff like that. Plus, if you go to ATI's site and do a search, you'll see there is no such thing as an ATI Radeon 9500 ASC.
