I tried exporting to XML, creating a new map, then importing all that XML into the new map. The exit table got imported OK, but I couldn't get the rooms to import.
I then tried exporting to TXT and importing that, and although the object table did get populated this time, there were still no rooms visible on the map.
Looking at the .mdb, all the rooms got imported into zone '0' which is a little disappointing considering zone '1' is the only one that existed, but my source map was actually two zones together :)
Also, the import dialog had the description in the wrong box ie:

For interests sake, I manually added a zone '0' through access, the result was rather amusing:
