I had the window layout in 6.16 "just right," and I'm having some difficulty getting it that way in 6.4. What I want:

Quick Tiling->Tabbed with Fullscreen is almost perfect, but I don't like the line of the window on the left side, I prefer the MUD output to meet the edge of the screen.

No tiling with Full Screen is close, with the menu bar Brought to Front (but it doesn't stay in front, which would be nice, preferably without covering up gauges).

Is there a reason the layout keeps changing and not carrying over from version to version? Would be nice to have some more consistency, since the "greater flexibility" being offered doesn't seem to allow the look of previous versions. Of course, if I'm just missing something simple to make the MUD output go to the edge of the screen in Tabbed mode, I'll just be quiet. I'd appreciate any help, I know fine-tuning aesthetics isn't the most fun thing in the world.

Make sure that when you right-click on the window and go to Window Options, Caption on Top is selected.
