buffer/capture won't function

I've run into the weird problem of my buffer no longer functioning, i've gone through the memory settings in preferences, and it hasnt changed any from how its been for the past few months (5000 lines for everything) I've rebooted, closed it off, reloaded it. I've gone over every command i could find, i've read the FAQ, and read the online help, i can't seem to figure out why my buffer is no longer functioning.
Specifically, i enter a mud, do a few things, and try to scroll back, but there is no scroll back, as if the scrollback/buffer feature is gone. I have a large amount of memory, and my system resources are at 90 percent. I'm using win98se with zmud 6.16 Any help is appreciated.

The mud itself could be causing the clearing of the scroll-back buffer. There are ANSI escape codes and VT102 sequences that clears the screen and stuff, I have seen it clear the scroll-back too.

Try reinstalling, if Pega's solution didn't work. I, in all my ignorant glory, accidentally imported a zip file into my settings, which had the effect of crashing the display module of ZMud (the one that applied all the changes made to the output by the parsing engines). A simple reinstall fixed this problem.
