Synchronizing the 3 splitter windows in zExplorer |
There seems to be a small bug in synchronizing the 3 splitter windows in zExplorer.
If you select an item ( i.e. a dungeon ) in the map window, the other two windows ( "Selected" and "Nearby" ) will normally be updated.
But if you select the item and then scroll a fair amount in the map window using the scroll bars and select another item, only the "Selected" window will be updated but not the "Nearby" window.
This bug does not exist within ACExplorer. |

This is because the "Nearby" window only shows the locations that were near your original selection. When you scroll, the Nearby list isn't updated, unless you right-click and choose the Center Map command. So, when you scroll and select a new location, that location wasn't in the Nearby list so there is nothing to select.

Sorry Zugg, but i can't accept your answer.
If I scroll the map window and select a new item ( right clicking the item ), i expect the "Select" window to be updated to the newly selected item ( which it does ) and of course the "Nearby" window has to be updated according to the "Selected" window ( which it does not) as well.
That, in my opinion, is a sure bug. Please have a look at ACExplorer, which handles the syncronization of all three windows perfectly. |

Oops!
In the above post it should read ( left clicking the item ) not ( right clicking the item ). |
