Draw Links tick box for mapper

Is it just me or is the tick box that tells the zmud mapper to join links removed? I thought it was in the mapper config settings but I cant seem to locate it anymore and its a pain in the butt walking back and forth just to make sure every link is joined in an area that has 10 directions from each room.

The Interface section of the Map Properties might have what you are looking for.

Just posted AutoLink script to finished scripts forum, might do what you are looking for. To the best of my knowledge what you were looking for has never been in the Automapper.

I tired to install your script into Zmud 6.34 and it isnt doing anything. I entered the first alias and nothing happened, I entered it as setrange 11 35 first and nothing then just setrange and nothing.. so I manually entered the numbers in the variable section and tried calculatespatial and nothing happened.. :(

ok dun know what I did, but it works now.. Was just wondering how long the calculate spatial is sposed to take though I tested it on a 24 room area and after 10 minutes it was still going.. my only indication of it still going was the refresh button in the settings editor doing a constant flicker, meaning something was working hard. :)

The script is kind of terse. It doesn't report successes, only failures. If you put the data in manually it is likely that it isn't there in all the places it has to be. Try following the documented steps again, maybe even look at some of what it is doing with the variables. That is part of why I put it in 3 seperate aliases. I wanted a user to be able to confirm things were going well before it made permanent changes to the map.

yeah I got it to take the numbers and calculate all the exits for each room and then did "calculatespatial" at present it is still running from about 20 minutes after my previous post when I aborted it and added a #echo checking @roompos to the calculatespatial command... the area its doing is only 24 rooms and like I said its still running. Should it be taking that long?
this is on a 500mhz 396mb RAM windows xp machine..

Must be a bug in either my script or 6.34, email me your map file vijilant@nycap.rr.com

If it is too large to send by email even when zipped I can pop up icq, or maybe some other means can be arranged. Be sure to tell me the range your looking to work, I will end up adding a bunch of the stuff to the script no matter which way it turns out.

Thanks for the email, there were a few bugs in my script, and far too many inadequacies. However there is also a few bugs in 6.34 that will preclude you from using this script with it.

I changed my script to overcome a few of them and maintin compatibility with the public version, but alas something require Zugg's expert hand.
