Wierd speedwalk issues

SO, this is really beginning to irritate me:
Whenever I try to run a paths over about 30 rooms long, zMUD locks up the computer. Allow me to share with you the versions and OS's that this happens on: 5.48, 5.55, and 6.16 on both Windows XP Pro and Windoes 2k Pro. Now, this didn't always happen, ,it just started rather suddenly, which made me suspeect that some winXP update or other had messeed things up. SO, I got a new HD, (for other reasons :p) and installed windows 2k on it. I installed zMUD 6.16, logged in, entered a new path, saved it, attempted to run said path and...kaplow...lockup city. Not only did the computer freeze for a full 15 seconds, but when I finally got the task manager up and killedd zMUD, the whole machine tanked. No message, no warning, just a reboot. Needless to say, this makes any sortt of serious mudding just about impossible and has started me looking for another client!

ANY comments/ideas/fixes would be appreciated.

Thanks

If you are using DSL or RR try updating your ethernet cards drivers. XP is notorious for not having functional drivers as part of its default, and 2k was only a little better.

Yes, network card drivers are the most frecuent causers of this problem. You may also try setting the Sendline Delay (In Script Parsers, under Prefs) to something higher than zero.
